Fundamental Mat Series
A 4 week series designed to help you understand your own body on the mat, understand the feeling of Pilates and give you full confidence stepping into any mat Pilates class.

Each session is 1:30 hrs. Rather than a traditional class setting, it will feel more like a workshop: chance to ask questions, talk through the why's, discuss individual needs.

You will have 2 instructors with you for the full series. Meaning as one instructor is teaching, the other will be walking around and giving adjustments.

Emma - our studio owner with over 5 years of Pilates teaching experience. Will be introducing the origins of the movements from the classical repertoire. How the movements link to other Pilates equipment and help you understand that Pilates is a system - not a trend.

Rachael - a full time physio and part time mat Pilates instructor with a wealth of knowledge in anatomy, working with different capabilities and a passion for breath work. She'll bring the contemporary and sport. science outlook on the movements.

This series is for anyone really! It's a great introduction to mat work, an opportunity to refresh your knowledge if it's been a while. Individually catered and supported if you're returning to exercise after injury or been recommended to try by a physio. Or even if you are very familiar with Pilates and simply want a more in depth workshop style class.
